Restaurante Azenhas Do Mar

We came here for lunch last summer and overall enjoyed our experience. We actually couldn’t finish all our food. Food was good but didn’t wow us except the barnacles—very fresh and delicious(it was our first time eating it). The price was on the expensive side but I think part of that is the amazing view. Overall it was worth the 1 time experience. Here’s my TA$TE ratings: Taste: 4 stars/good Ambience: 5 stars/Amazing views $: 4 stars/On expensive end but expected Treatment: 4 stars/service was very good but can improve on attentiveness Experience: 4 stars/overall experience was good but this is one of those once is good enough.

We had a fantastic experience at this seafood restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. We ordered the tuna steak, which was served on a bed of caramelized onions with a fried egg on top, accompanied by crispy French fries. We also had a side of mixed sautéed vegetables — everything was absolutely delicious. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake, which was the perfect way to end our meal. The menu has plenty of interesting options, and we’ll definitely be coming back to try more! The service was excellent — the staff were polite, attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. Inside, the atmosphere felt like being on a ship, with the sound of the ocean and a gentle breeze swaying the hanging lanterns. It was such a lovely and unique experience.

It was my dream to celebrate my birthday in this restaurant. And my dream came true even better than I expected. Such a gorgeous view , delicious food and wine. When you are eating you can hear the ocean and see amazing sunset. It was the best octopus we ever tried. Our waiter was great as well, Cyprian - not sure if I remember his name right. My absolute recommendation.

A return to my Mom’s dinner table. I ordered garlic cod / potatos, it was delicioso. Wine list is excelent. Overall a great place to have a great meal. And reasonably priced..

We had a great experience here. Before visiting Azenhas do Mar, we had already eaten brunch and didn’t have room for another full meal. However, we were completely drawn in by the beautiful view from the restaurant’s window. Since we didn’t have a reservation, we decided just to stop in for a drink. The receptionist was very friendly and kindly allowed us to sit by the window for half an hour, as the table was reserved for someone else later. The view was absolutely stunning. The food we saw being served looked fresh, and the service from the staff was great as well. Thank you for being so flexible! that moment, along with the incredible view, became one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal!

We were there at sunset. It was an amazing experience to see a beautiful sunset with delicious dinner. The service was excellent!! Highly recommended! Octopus salad and tuna steak were really good.

There is little to nothing to complain about this restaurant. Each time we have gone we have had a perfect meal. Dishes we had that were great. Salt crusted fish Grilled Sea Bass Octopus salad Lavender Crème Lait Chocolate Cake AND!!! have the local wine from Colares they suggest from their list
